The Ideal Band To Fire Up Your Wedding
All weddings are created equal, but some are created better than others. Without wishing to sound too grand, when you play as many booking as ourselves, you pick up very quickly on which clients are up for a party and which clients are REALLY up for a party. Quite often if the bride or groom say “we want to get the dance floor full straight way; we’ll grab all of our mates and we’ll make sure they don’t leave until the end of the night”, you know you’re going to be playing to some serious party animals.
How They Came to Choose Amplified
And so it went when we played for Eric, Helen and guests at Bordesley Park, Redditch, Worcester last month. Apparently the bride and groom had hired us after going through dozens of bands who didn’t quite hit the spot – bands who sounded OK but all sounded the same, no character, slightly bored looking. Yes well, we know the type, and we’re completely the opposite. We have lots of energy on stage and we always enjoy ourselves which really comes across in live performances; something that’s guaranteed to break the ice and relax your guests.
The First Dance
Eric and Helen had chosen “Let’s stay together” by Al Green for their first dance, which apart from being a classic song sounds absolutely superb when performed by a professional live band such as yourselves! When it came time for the first dance we invited these guests to line the edge of the dance floor and then invited the bride and groom to the centre. After the first verse and chorus, everyone joined the happy couple on the dance floor and sang along – perfect. You can check out our other live music vids and see for yourself how we play.
Keeping It Moving
We then launches into two hours of classic and contemporary live music including pop, rock, indie, soul, ska and more. People loved the mix and also the DJ music we provided. Eric got in touch to tell us “we were a hot and sweaty mess afterwards but thanks for making our evening, you were absolutely brilliant!”
That’s what we like to hear. If this floats your boat, why not get in touch? We’d love to hear from you!
If you would like to speak to one the group personally, then give us a call on 0796 433 5657 and we’ll be happy to have a chat with you!
